Rewind:Thanksgiving Trip

Our Thanksgiving trip was the ultimate whirlwind. It was busy and lots of fun! We achieved what we wanted to do: see & spend time with family!

Thanksgiving dinner was so yummy. My mil makes the best turkey. It was so moist! Here's the baby enjoying his personal feast.

A nice shot with two of my sil's. E* jumped in at the last minute!

Miss M* with one of her cousins!

Matt & E* during the after dinner conversation hour. The kindergartener was being camera shy.

Thanksgiving night each family made their own gingerbread house. They all turned out so different. Unfortunately, ours didn't survive to long after we got home. Temperature & altitude discrepancies, we think. :(

The older kids went to see the Mr. Magorium movie with their grandparents while the rest of us went to visit grandpa & grandma. Grandpa got out this huge old, long gun from the 19th century for us to see. It had a blade at the end of it. Scary! :) Imagine fighting a war with that thing. It was a monster!!

Grandpa gave E* this wooden snake. He loved it & is still playing with it today!

Thanks to Steve & Beckie for driving up to see us!
So, as you can see we had a fun little trip. We ate the best food, watched the Cougars beat the lame-o (don't get mad at me, dave :)) Utes on a huge big screen, watched disney movies for 26 hours on our new in-car dvd player, played dress-up & dinosaurs with our cousins, decorated a gingerbread house, played Scrabble, had many a good conversation & froze our southwestern noses off!!
It was the perfect Thanksgiving.
