Alligators & Tigers

Spring Break came fast and furious this year and we took serious advantage of it! Matt flew up to Utah to party with some buddies we went up to visit Nana & Papa. I should have known that Nana would keep us active and busy. We did enough in four days to last a month.

We happen to live in an area that people would die to live this time of year. It was in the 70's the entire week. Clear blue skies, sunny...the perfect park weather.

Next on the list was a visit to a newly opened aquarium. It was awesome. We've been to the Boston Aquarium, Sea World, all the great aquatic places and this one held it's own. If you live in the valley or visit you need to check it out.
There were some freaky looking turtles in residence. I never knew there were so many different species. This one was huge.
The sting rays were neat to touch albeit a tad slimy.
The Caribbean Reef. The picture doesn't show the beauty of the reef fish very well. They were so bright and pretty.

Who knew fish could be so mesmerizing?

This white alligator was the coolest thing at the aquarium besides the sharks. We watched it swimming for 10 minutes. That is a huge amount of time for my kids to be in any place.
Next we hit the zoo portion of the park. Our first spot is always to see the white tiger. Love, love, love this tiger. The Bengal tiger is pretty awesome too but have you ever seen a white tiger?
Hanging with the zebras.I wish I could keep shoes on this kid!! Good thing he has such a great sister to ease the burden.
Thanks, M*!
