We went camping with some friends on Friday. It was local so the drive was short which is always nice. What I like about camping: being outdoors, a campfire... what I dislike about camping: the dirt, missing my bed, did I mention the dirt? :) Anyway, I'm always good for a weekend of camping and the kids love it.

Apparently kids love camping for the same reasons that moms tolerate them- dirt, bugs, rocks, tents, sleeping bags, hot dogs, sticky marshmallows, & flashlights! Here's to camping! A modern twist on pioneer life.
