Another Birthday Come & Gone

E* just had his 4th birthday. We celebrated on Friday with cupcakes on our camping trip & did another little family party when we got home. If you remember last year the kid wanted a dinosaur cake. This year was the same but he wanted it to specifically be a t-rex. Apparently I missed the boat last year in creating a brontosaurus cake. It had to be a t-rex so this was my best effort.

i used the banana runts candy for the claws & teeth.

fortunately, the cake passed inspection.

the birthday wish list consisted of one thing: a snake. (no, not real!)

his first remote control car. a fore warning to all innocent pedestrians!

he also got a huge stuffed snake. safe to cuddle with!

the baby kept blowing out the candles. he's developed a strong pucker.:)

look at those cheeks. i wonder if he remembered to make a wish!

it was a very fine time & whew, our final birthday this month. until next year, happy birthday!!
