In celebration of Earth Day the fifth grader's class was challenged with the opportunity to create something out of recyclables. Since she is still obsessed with anything owl she decided to design an owl. How awesome did it turn out?
Items used:body=1 large jello box
feet=2 juice boxes
wings=2 dove soap boxes & plastic soda pop rings
eyes=2 CD's
nose=1/2 plastic easter egg
ears=cut outs from a macaroni & cheese box
mouth= smashed tin lid from a starbucks bottle
feathers= plastic milk lids
All in the name of recycling which of course, we do. :-)
