The kids and I were so excited tonight when we spotted three javelinas walking across the road just past the entrance to our subdivision! We have been waiting to see wild javelinas since we moved to our new house but never had a sighting until today. Hopefully, we'll see our javelina friends again from the safety of our car!

Isn't that weird?? We saw a mom and 2 babies walking down our road like the week after we moved here. I guess it's a friendly reminder that we truly live in the desert.
Okay.. that is a weird looking animal. Kind of like a pig on steroids.
OK Kyle saw a mom and two babies the first day he moved into our house??
